Part Time Technical Support Specialist—Dallas

Hardware Support

  • Responsible for setting up PCs, as needed, on a timely basis.
  • Coordinate repair work of network and printing equipment with IT Manager
  • Order parts for PC and laptops
  • Assist in the set-up and distribution of laptops
  • Test new hardware and software
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve desktop and laptop problems; understand imaging software.
  • Rebuild and image laptops and desktops as needed
  • Setup printers for network and local usage
  • Troubleshoot PDAs (Blackberrys and IPhones)

Company Wide Support

  • Assist personnel in trouble shooting hardware related issues
  • Retrieve requests from personnel to resolve any issues

Software Support

  • Retrieve backup copies of lost documents and or folders as requested
  • Monitor the software for servers that have lost connection with the network and trouble shoot those issues
  • Perform desk side assistance and training for Microsoft Office application packages (Office 2003/2007)
  • Perform software testing on potential new technology

Experience & Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal, written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent Client Service skills in fast moving, high pressure and dynamic environments
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and take ownership of issues.
  • Experience with Windows XP and Windows 7 operating system and Microsoft Suites (Microsoft 03/07)

Part Time Occupational Therapist—Fort Worth

The Occupational Therapist is a qualified, licensed professional who provides, evaluates, and supervises occupational therapy services to children and adults with autism in our Fort Worth Therapy Clinic, as prescribed by a licensed physician.

Must be a graduate of an accredited school program of Occupational Therapy; Currently licensed to practice as an Occupational Therapist in the State of Texas; Relevant clinical experience, 1 year or more preferred; Current CPR/First Aid certification for all age groups; Computer skills with Microsoft office knowledge; and Experience working with children, adolescents and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder preferred.

Duties:

  • Performs initial evaluation and develops treatment plans in accordance with physician’s orders.
  • Implements treatment plan, provides occupational therapy services to children and adults with autism.
  • Instructs patients, their families, and other members of the service team in regards to therapy procedures.
  • Reports pertinent observations, reactions, and any patient behavioral issues to appropriate team member.
  • Maintains patient records in accordance with ATC standards, state and federal regulations, and submits documentation within required timeframes.
  • Participates in patient care conferences as needed, communicates with other team members, in order to facilitate coordination of patient care.
  • Supervises Occupational Therapy Assistant (when applicable) to accomplish the plan of treatment as developed.
  • Participates in training and meetings with ATC to learn procedures and develop skills and knowledge of Autism.
  • Performs all duties in compliance with ATC policy and procedures.  Adheres to all rules, regulations, and code of ethics, guidelines, and codes in federal, state and local laws, which are concerned with the practice of occupational therapy.
  • May be required to meet with supervisor, technical support staff, human resources, or other support staff as needed to maintain therapy standards and patient care.
  • Incidental time is a part of the job responsibilities which includes, but not limited to, patient chart updates, patient notes and call logs, performance reviews, supervisory meetings, and training.

Speech Language Pathologist—San Antonio

The Autism Treatment Center is now hiring for a Speech Language Pathologist in our fast growing Medicaid outpatient rehabilitation facility (ORF) specializing in the treatment of Autism Spectrum Disorder.
The SLP will provide comprehensive diagnostic services to patients referred for possible speech, language and/or hearing disorders. With physician referral and approval, treatment plans are implemented to address deficits identified in any, or all of these areas.

Minimum Qualifications:
Meets Clinical Competence in (speech pathology or audiology) granted by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association; or:

  • Meets the educational requirements for certification and is in the process of accumulating the supervised experience required for certification.
  • Competent to treat pediatrics and adolescents diagnosed with Autism Spectrum disorder and/or related disorders.

Occupational Therapist—San Antonio

An Occupational Therapist position is available in our fast growing Medicaid outpatient facility specializing in the treatment of Autism Spectrum Disorder. The Occupational Therapist provides comprehensive diagnostic services to patients referred for a possible in the areas of fine motor development, orthopedic abnormality, or neurological deficits. With physician referral and approval, treatment plans are implemented to address deficits identified in any, or all of these areas. Goals are set to move the individual toward his or her maximum level of independence and/or function.

Minimum Qualifications:

House Manager—San Antonio

Are you looking for an opportunity to make a difference? If you enjoy working with children, you will love this position! The House Manager will work in a group home setting with 6-7 beds and will supervise 3-4 direct care staff. This position is responsible for all aspects of managing a group home (paperwork, hiring, appointments and training and will ensure that the home is survey ready at all times. Attention to detail is a must. Direct care in working with children with developmental disabilities & previous supervisory exp required. On call and some weekend hours required. The pay is 30k/year + benefits. Please note that all House Managers start as a Personal Care Assistant (PCA) with a promotion after successfully completing 90 days as a PCA.

  • Previous Direct Care Experience working with individuals with intellectual and development disabilities

Medical Transporter—San Antonio

The Autism Treatment Center is looking for a Medical Transporter. This is a part-time position that is responsible for safe and efficient operation of Autism Treatment Center transportation passenger vehicles. Work involves the operation of a specialty vehicle in the transport of the patients along a fixed or flexible schedule as circumstances indicate. Work is performed with considerable independence under the general direction of a supervisor with responsibilities which may include the pick up and taking patients to medical appointments. Work involves considerable contact with the public and requires the exercise of tact, judgment, and diplomacy.

BCBA Program Coordinator—San Antonio

The Autism Treatment Center of San Antonio is seeking a Program Coordinator to oversee the deliverable services and data collection.

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Analyzing behavioral and program data
  • Training direct care staff on data collection procedures
  • Provide clinical supervision to educational staff • Develop Annual and Quarterly Service Plans for all children in Residential Program
  • Ensure learners programs are being implemented and the data is being collected
  • Ensure all documentation meets all licensing requirements and program standards
  • Serve as Case Manager for children in Residential Program
  • Conduct admission assessments
  • Maintain open line of communication with consumers' families and caseworkers
  • Oversee assessment and reassessment of consumers' level of car and review plan of care
  • Maintain and audit consumer records
  • Maintain and facilitate communication with Special Education Directors of contracting districts
  • Act as liaison for all children enrolled in public schools an attend all ARD meetings
  • Develop and oversee all behavioral programming for all educational and residential consumers
  • Provide ongoing staff training on Behavior Therapy Plan implementation
  • Consult with psychologist on a weekly basis in the development of Behavior Therapy Plans
  • Consult with psychiatrist on a monthly basis in the development of Behavior Therapy Plans
  • Provide clinical supervision and training to the Educational Coordinator

Qualifications:

  • Must have a Master's Degree from an accredited institution of higher education in Applied Behavior Analysis or related field.
  • Must be Board Certified or eligible to sit for the board exam.
  • Minimum of one year experience providing services to children on the autism spectrum
  • Minimum of two years experience supervising the work of others in an autism treatment setting.
  • Ability to communicate readily with therapists and family members.
  • Must have good writing and analytical abilities
